Recording update: We finished recording the new EP and we are knee deep in the mixing process through most of August. Can't wait to share it all with you! Look for a fall release. This Friday I'll be doing and interview and live on air performance on Rutgers University Radio WRSU 88.7 FM "Overnight Sensations" at 10 PM. Hosted by Jared Migden and Geoff Pape. I'll be talking about a benefit show I'm involved in for my former drummer Dan Duggins. He suffered a stroke last April while we were enroute to a show in NJ. We are raising funds to help out with his medical bills.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! My drummer, Dan Duggins (who also performed with Zigmat, The Queen Killing Kings and Hot Rod Circuit), suffered a stoke to his brain stem on the way to our gig in New Jersey on April 27th. Dan, like many musicians, does not have health insurance. He and his family are faced with a huge bill of medical costs. Dan is slowly making progress and has a tough road ahead of him as he will begin rehabilitation soon to restore his strength and function. His family has set up a fund to help cover his medical costs. I have met them and they are awesome people. It would be greatly appreciated if you can donate to this cause. Next show is at Crash Mansion with the band on December 17th at 8 PM. And it's a very merry one! The theme is "Dressin’ Up For Festivus", so dress up holidaze style if you want to. No obligation! It is also an all female-fronted band night. There is an open bar from 9-10pm for vodka drinks, and there will be $2 shots. $4 beers and $5 mixed drinks all night. It’s a $10 cover.

I did a video blog of the initial 13 days of recording my new record. A snap shot of a day in the life of creating a body of work. I really love the idea of a record. A whole cohesive unit of songs speaking one possible thing. A sort of "greater than the sum of its parts" idea.

Heading back into the studio in May for a few days. Yeah!

I can't wait to get this record out! A few have heard the rough tracks. They compared the songs to a combination of elements of certain bands: REM, The Bangles, Blondie, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, Radiohead, Roxy Music, Lucinda Williams and Yellowcard. hmmm...

Hey everyone! I start recording my new album on Monday March 31st. I decided that I am going to document each day with a snippet of video. "13 Days of Recording". Yes, I am doing the video blog. Each day will "time capsule" something about the recording process...Maybe some tracks, meal of the day, or crying because I banged and chipped my guitar AGAIN! LOL.

Next week I'll be recording my new album (March 31st to April 12th). I'll be working with producer Bryan Russell (Straylight Run, Envy on the Coast) in Brooklyn. I am very excited! It's going to be a full length album. Full production. Full band. Very intense! Hopefully, it will be released by the end of the year.
